Libyan Premier Dabaiba visits the Italian stand

The “Made in Italy” stand at the 49th edition of the Tripoli International Fair in Libya aroused great public interest among Libyan commercial operators and institutional authorities visiting the main fair in the country.

The Italian stand, promoted by the Italian-Libyan Center for Business and Cooperation “, in collaboration with KC Consulting, BCL and Italian-Libyan Chamber of Commerce, saw the participation of various Italian companies in the field of food, fashion and cosmetics including brands Braccialini, Epos Caffè and Pink Panda.

The Tripoli International Fair, the most important trade fair in Libya, was inaugurated last Saturday 6 May by the President of the Libyan Government Abdulhamid Dabaiba and the Minister of Economy Mohamed Al Hweij, who paid particular attention to the “Made in Italy” stand ” received by Alessia Paolucci, coordinator of the project.

“We thank the Libyan authorities and the Ministry of Economy in particular for having hosted us at this important fair, as well as we thank the Italian Embassy in Tripoli for their precious support and for having visited us in the person of the Economic Manager Giacomo Grandesso and the ICE-ITA Director Romano Baruzzi”, declared Khalid Chaouki, General Manager of the Italian-Libyan Center for Business and Cooperation.

“The “Made in Italy” stand welcomed numerous requests from leading Libyan entrepreneurial groups interested in strengthening economic ties and transferring technologies from Italy to Libya” underlined Alessia Paolucci, Italian entrepreneur residing in Tripoli and project coordinator .

Italy is the first commercial partner in Libya, particularly in the Oil & Gas, Food, processing machinery and construction sectors.

The Italian-Libyan Center for Business and Cooperation is a consultancy agency whose objective is to strengthen the economic and cultural relations between Italy and Libya, in collaboration with the Italian-Libyan institutions and with the economic and cultural.
